The Appia Life Compact semi-automatic espresso machine also features Nuova Simonelli’s Soft-Infusion System (SIS), which delivers a small amount of water at a low pressure to pre-wet or pre-infuse the espresso before ramping up to the full 9 bars of pressure. This helps to ensure that the coffee is saturated evenly, leading to more precise and better espresso extractions.
